Hi I'm new to this.Is probotics ok and enzymes?

Hi,I'm new and I'm having a flare it's been going on about 2 months some good days but would love some advice.I need help from people thats been here awhile.I have alot of hope reading this forum.Is it ok to take probtics and enzymes?Should I wait til I get done flaring?And I have changed my diet.I also have the hefin to put up there at home.I want to take another it would be my 4th. during this time.Also taking tramdol for pain which I hate taking pain pills and my heating pad.Any help I would be thankful for.Thanks

The important thing is to be sure to work with your doctor and be sure he/she is aware of any and all medications you are taking, including probiotics, herbal remedies, etc.

thanks for the reply she knows I'm taking them..What is the best thing to clean the little tube that you have to put inside you for the in home treatments.I cleaned with soap and alcohol is that ok? also is there any over the counter test kits to see if you have a bladder infection or should you go to the doctor? You are the first person that I have talked to and know I don't feel so lost there's hope. God Bless

There are some over the counter test kits available, but they aren't always accurate. It's usually best to be tested by your doctor. When I did home instillations, I used an antibacterial soap to clean the catheters, as recommended by my urologist. I always rinsed thoroughly after cleaning with soap, then wrapped in a wash cloth which had been washed with clorox in the water.
