Do any of you have prudendal nerve entrapment or a disfunctional pelvic floor and have tried the dexedrine for pain--just plain relenting burning vaginal pain? I recently found out that I have bilateral prudendal nerve entrapment and it is extremely painful ALL THE TIME. I am going to see a doctor this weekend who is going to let me try the dexedrine to see what happens. It would be nothing short of a miracle if this worked for the burning pain that this condition causes.

I know a dr. that treats idiopathic edema w/ dexedrine & in his research has found it helps w/ pelvic pain problems. He's had alot of success so I hope it helps you too.

I got my medication in tablet form. When you take it you need to be careful that it does not make you extremely nervous.

PNE is by far more painful than IC at times. I know that this sounds unbelievable to many of you suffering with IC but PNE is actually nerve entrapment and the one and only way to fix it is a gruesome surgery that takes one to two years to recover from. For instance for the first three months you can sit for about ten minutes a day other than to use the bathroom. Can you believe that. So people turn to blocks, pain killers, sacral stimulation, or a pain pump. The success of the surgery is not good but usually people get somewhat better. I have taken the dex now for about one week and so far it has only added to my anxiety. I do better with provigil for the fatigue. However I am going to stay on the dex for another week, and will keep you posted to the results.
