How long after cysto/hydro???

Hi , I had a cysto/hydro done and was wondering, for anyone who has gotten better with one , how long did it take before you felt relief?? It's been 2 weeks and my dr. wants to start bladder rinses. I wanted to be sure this didn't help first, as he is 1&1/2 hours away, so it won't be real handy to do this. Thanks, Grace

Recovery time from hydrodistention can vary considerably. This has been a major part of my treatment --- and I plan to take it very easy for a few days afterwards. I usually feel better than before a hydro within a week. Some people find it takes them much longer to recover and feel better.

I also have bladder instillations regularly. It helps me to go much longer between hydrodistentions.

as always Donna gave you some good advice. everyone is diff. and we all heal in diff times. I would go ahead with the dmso I think that is the same thing as a bladder rinses if the hydo is going to help you it will still help ifs its going too.
