This is really weird. I noticed a few days ago, that my socks were yellow when I went to take them off. Tonight, before my shower, I paid special attention. Socks were yellow still. My feet were yellow..both before and after the shower. And the bottom inside of my slippers are yellow.

I have no idea what this could be coming from??? Things that I do know:

*Its not something Ive stepped in
*Im using the same laundry detergent
*Same socks Ive had for a while..and I only wear white socks

I dont know if this is something to be alarmed about?? I thought maybe I would save my yellow socks and call my doctor on Monday, and see what she says. But I also dont want to go to the doctor if I dont really need to. I tried googling yellow socks and yellow feet. I came up with nothing.

Any ideas?:help::confused:

YELLOW FEET???
Hmmm, I don't know...first I thought jaundice but then that wouldn't make your SOCKS yellow.
Have you taken any pyridium or been drinking a lot of carrot juice lately???
I am as stumped as you are. Yellow is my least favorite color, so I for one would be on my way to the ER ASAP, for vanity's sake, if nothing else lol!
No, but seriously, I have never heard of this and I wish I had some words of wisdom.
How about the inside of your shoes? New yellow shoes? I have had the dye from brown or black shoes come thru my socks and stain my feet, but I don't usually wear yellow shoes, especially this time of year...do you:confused:

Thanks for the reply!

I have not taken pyridium in about a week. And I dont take it very often. Ive surely not noticed it as a side effect. (I thought of that as a possibility)

Its also not from the shoes themselves. I dont get out much due to the lack of a job. Im either in my slippers (had for a few years) or my tennis shoes(bought this past summer).

No med changes either.

Well, this is my theory:
that handsome sneaky-lookin' devil of a husband you have in your sig is playing a very bad trick on you and has been putting yellow Easter egg dye in your socks:lmao: Are you sure he knows that tomorrow is Christmas, and not Easter???

Have you checked your slippers? This just sounds strange..

I have never heard of your feet turning socks yellow.. Now I have heard of your water turning socks yellow..Like if the water has some rust in it..

Our water is rusty and yucky. I wont drink it...IC or not (its one of the few things I cant have...our water)

But if it were turning my socks yellow, then why not other clothing? Nothing else is yellow. And I did a load of whites today.

well, just in case, be prepared to be opening a fancy basket full of yellow eggs and chocolate bunnies tomorrow instead of a stocking...just don't forget to dig deep there might be a diamond in there somewhere:lmao:IF HE"S LUCKY!!

True...
And we used to have an old beach house in Galveston where the water was visibly rusty and yellow but only in the bathroom because of old pipes and actually that did stain our skin to some extent. But like you said...if it were the water then the clothes you washed would be yellow, too, if all of your faucets put out rusty water, not just in the shower.

If you haven't taken PYridium in a week I doubt that would be the cause, unless it somehow built up in your system and landed in your feet, but I have been taking it off and on a few times a month for 4 yrs and and no problems not even a stain on the toilet.

Well, keep us posted on how it goes and whether you get a Christmas stocking or an easter basket tomorrow!!!

Perhaps you are turning into a duck!
I have nothing to add, hope you find an answer soon or that it just goes away.
Wishing you a lovely holiday from the bottom of my sole,
(Sorry, couldn't help myself!)

Its probably something in the water, or maybe from sweating? If your feet sweat at all.

Sometimes I get black feet from wearing my black Ugg slippers, lol And I've had them for a year so its not like they are new, just happens.

And my other purple fuzzy socks that I got for Christmas, left my feet and tan uggish slippers purple too, its probably nothing if it is just your feet, I think if you had jaundice you would have more yellow on your body (and eyes)

One thing you might do is to put a pair of new white socks in your washer to see if the yellow is from your water --- different fabrics will absorb differently.

However, I suspect it's either pyridium leftover or diet.

Ok, so many suggestions....and thoughts...but I am thinking atheletes foot maybe?? is this possible??

If not this....are your feet swollen at all?

I mean our minds can wonder and there can be a ton of reasons....for yellow feet....issues with liver, kidneys, poor circulation....I think you need to see your doctor and speak to him about it, in case it is a more serious issue.
