Ok, so today I feel like my pets are not welcome...AT ALL. Daisy Mae kept me up last night. I think that I got maybe 3 hours of sleep last night. HAD to get up and go in town this morning and so I did that. Home by 10:00 and decided to eat an early lunch and go to bed for a few hours. Well, the phone rang 3 different times. Then a man stopped by to ask if we would allow him to hunt the land, since turkey season starts Saturday morning. Ok, fine, just let me know the night before so I can keep the kids close and the dogs in. UGH. So now I am awake and EXTREMELY tired. <<and witchey>> Bible study tonight at church. Thank God it's not my night to stay up with the puppy. Tylenol PM is my friend.......

I'm sorry Michelle!!

I know how it feels though... my kitten Paddington (an awfully LARGE kitten -- he's 10 months old and weighs 16.5 pounds already) woke me up 4 times last night -- 12:30, 2:30, 4, and 6 a.m.

Arrrgh!!

At 12:30, he was meowing so I would roll onto my back... he likes crawl up in my armpit, put his head on my shoulder, and his paw across my chest and sleep like a little person. At 2:00, he was meowing because the dog had gotten my husband up so he could go out, and Paddington figured since everyone else was up, he should meow until I got up too. At 4:00, he was meowing because it was lightning and thundering. And at 6, he just wanted his Mama to get the *&^% up and give him his breakfast already (he thinks everyone should get out of bed the second it gets light out).

Silly cat :)

Daisy Mae did not sleep a lot last night. But it was Donald's turn to get up with her. I want to move her into the room with the other dogs, but it's closer to the kids' bedroom. So, I will have to wait until maybe Friday night to try it. I can not have them being woken up and sleepy in school. Especially since Emilee has Benchmark testing this week. She needs her rest. Tonight is my night.

Yippee.

I also just want to try leaving her in her crate while she yips and barks and I think she'll finally give up. But I don't want my hubby or kids to lose sleep. That, too, will have to wait until weekend.

I don't have a ticking clock. I'm not going to buy one just for this either. We tried leaving the TV on for her last night. It did not help. Maybe the radio tonight.

O-well. She'll out grow it eventually. In the meantime, about every other morning I will just not like dogs in general.
