Within the first 15 min. the words "DMSO" and "used to treat ....Interstitial Cystitis" by Katherine Erbe to Vincent D'Onfrio, regarding this as *evidence* they just found....cool....until....

Until their superior (Jamie Sheridan) replies "hmm.... treating bladder infections..."

OH MAN! Just enough to make me reach thru and strangle the cast and the writers and anyone else responsible for this bungle of words......just one small blurb, but a HUGE error all in a matter of seconds....

OK so this has turned into a mini-rant, why? Because all the people near me I had to argue with and convince that IC is NOT just a bladder infection and that Antiobiotics won't cure it.....that IC is MUCH more than that.....poof!.......all that got decimated with a one liner.....ack!

Well all our hard work just out the window.:hi:
I'm sure alot of ic'ers had to deal with explaining it all over again. What a waste too when some don't get the help or support from family and friends in the first place.....:frown:

I watch that all the time.....but of course cleaning the bathroom put me behind and I didn't see it. Prolly for the better.

What's up writers?? Get your stories straight. Google the ICN next time for your research!! (As if they heard me all the way in TN....)

I just send a letter to "Law and Order".....I hope all our posts to them will help with a tiny bit of information for some people....

Has anyone heard back from Law&Order? I wrote them & suggested that even if they can't retract the info from that episode, it should not be re-aired for further repitition of their mistake. (Rerun season is coming up, also several other stations are rerunning episodes - syndication?)

They did not answer me. Anyone gotten a response?

Okay, now I'm really angry. So many letters were written to Law&Order that they cannot claim ignorance on their treatment of IC and DMSO. I turned on the TV tonight and they're re-airing that episode on NBC. Getting it wrong once wasn't enough???

They never answered my email. Did they answer anyone's???

I'm just appalled that they would [/U]continue[/U] to broadcast it... Making the mistake initially wasn't good, but to not correct it when so many people have written in is beyond irresponsible...

I am glad you all sent retraction letters. Must have been one of my old uros that advises the show (ha) Here you get all excited to see IC mentioned and then they use the term infection. Here we go and start all over again.
