Does it burn before it reaches your bladder?

I'm I just imagining this? It seems when I eat or drink an offending food or beverage, I will feel burning (urethral area) when first starting to eat or drink it. It sort of comes in a wave like pattern. At first I thought I might be imagining it, but now I'm not so sure. Anyone else notice this? :confused:

i feel cramping like before the burning hits then omg the pain i dont have to many foods that do me that way but if i get a hold of one omg i feel like i'm going to die. it hurts so badly.

I have had this happen exactly like this. When it does finally come it is like "battery acid" ouchy!! The area burns after a while also, I use Lidocaine 2% for this.. It helps a lot. Cold gell packs too help me. But the whole area redness is there.
I also use a LOT of water and antacids when this happens and fast for 12 hours or so..(just water) and it helps me a lot. But this can happen to me with or without an offending food or drink..However mostly with the bad foods, since it's not always easy to know what is in food at other peoples home. Our State coordinator gave me this hint 10 years ago, and it helped me a lot. My MD said she wouldn't think anything was wrong with it..Hope this helps..
