My burning has really decreased but not my frequency. My post-Thanksgiving flare is more or less over but I am still dealing with a major frequency problem.:toilet::toilet::toilet::toilet::toilet: I am begining to think I will have to live the rest of my life peeing 20-30 times every day. Flaring or not I spend way too much of my time in the bathroom. This makes it very difficult on the job. I just wish I could find something that could lower my frequency. I've tried OAB meds (detrol , ditropan) with no succsess. I often do the stand up and sit back down double voiding method but I still often have to pee again within 20 or 30 minutes. It never ends. My bladder is driving me:loco:

Dr. Evens told me I have to retrain my bladder. You make your self hold it as long as you can. At first it was very hard. But now I can get through with fewer trips to the bathroom. This is part of the physical therapy they teach. Every so often I find my self going every 20 min or so just to pee a few drops, thats when I know I have to start holding it again and working at training my bladder. I am sure this does not work for everyone but give it a try. Not fun but in the long run you will be thankful if it works.:)

Have you ever tried Sanctura? It was great for me but I had a problem w/ the drying effects & had to stop it, but it may help you. I hope you're feeling better by now.
