I haven't been around much lately...

But I just wanted some advice.

Since January, I would say. My periods have been out of WACK. I mean crazy. I'll miss for two months, then get a heavy period. Then miss another month.

I was finally diagnosed with cysts, which I think is why I was missing them in the first place. My first one was diagnosed at the end of June.

Since then I have been getting them and they make my IC pain shoot through the roof.

and the past three months have been the worst, in September I didnt get a period at all, then October comes along I get a period from HECK...bleeding so bad it was going through super pads and tampons(normally dont use these) in 30 minutes. It went on for 4 days. Then by the 8th day I was glad it was over...then 5 days later I get another period...one not as long but still heavy. I felt sick.

Then in november I get a period and its HEAVY again...same bleeding...I felt dizzy...and was changing every hour or so.

I have never had these issues...I have no idea why all of a sudden my body just wants to give up after I get IC.

I was given a BC pill, Micronor, but read that a Mini pill(progestin only) was a bladder irritant, so I was hesitant to take it.

So I have been dealing with this for awhile...

but anyways.

this past friday I was having horrible right sided pain, so bad I was in tears. My mom thought it could be my appendix, so I went to the ER. They said i twasn't my appendix, but its most likely another cyst. The pelvic they did, nearly killed me...it was the WORST ONE I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE...UGH

I just dont know how much more of this I can handle.

When your already in pain from your bladder, you don't need your ovaries killin ya.

So does anyone else deal with cysts on a monthly basis and if so, what do you take BC wise?

Thanks so much.

I am so sorry. I do get cysts regularly also. My primary dr gives me shots of toradal sometimes for them besides my pain meds. I haven't found anything else that helps me. They are very painful. I use the heating pad and hot baths.
I am sorry. I hope you find some relief.

I wonder if something else is going on too, I get cysts often but they didn't disrupt my periods, I had a hysto in2000 so I can't say now. I alway start out thinking I am having an IC flare before I realize it is a cyst. The way I ussally can tell it is cycts, because my back really hurts, and pain ussally ends up on one side or the other.

I've got them and tests have shown them, but I'm not sure what causes what sometimes because it's all 24/7 of fun. Argh.
