Something funky in my urine this morning

Am trying to measure a few days to see where I'm at and I found this white thing that looks like a broken egg shell (I actually took it out for myself to get a better look). What do you think that might be? Never noticed it before.

One thing that I typically do get is white flaky-like stuff. What is that usually? Bacteria? The only other thing that sometimes passes is blood. Fun.

Even a normal, healthy bladder will shed some lining, just as our skin replaces itself. But if we don't have a bladder problem the tendency is to not pay any attention to our urine. It can also be from inflammation. How much are you drinking?

I also have white flakes in my urine at times. That stuff, like Donna said, is old bladder lining sloughing off and coming out in the urine. It's a normal process.

Was this "eggshell" thing hard like a shell, or was it flexible and soft? If it was soft, then it could be just a bigger piece of bladder lining.

i cant believe this i have been noticing the same thing, im freaking out, i just got diagnosed so i figured it had something to do with IC. actually its flakes in my urine every time i go, its white, idk?

You probabily don't need to worry about this too much. It has been talked about often on this site. You can search it in the search section. But you know if this concerns you take a sample of it to your Dr. and ask to have it tested, then you will know for sure.
