Winter and The Holiday Seasons

Anyone want to start us off on a new Winter Holiday Thread? I will at the end of the weekend. Lots of photos taken in front of the tree (which is not up yet).

I do have a photo of the garland I so painstakingly put up last week. I may take a photo of that and send it on in.

I can't wait to see what you all have in store for photos this Holiday Season!

I will be downloading mine tonight Kara.. Cant wait to show you all our Christmas project!! My hubby made a 6x4 cross to lay on the top of our roof.. It has blue lights around it! I hope I can get a good shot of it! Are house is SO lit up this year!! Hope all is well!!

Here's the start of some things I have done. Not all of them are completed yet.

I've been feeling really bad in my PAIN CENTER which is what I now call it b/c I don't have anything left down there.............So I am going to rest all day and hopefully I will feel up to more decorating as the week goes on.

Don't have my tree up yet, but its in the box in the living room (along with all the decorations!) I would take pictures and download them but sorry I just don't know how! Maybe someone could tell me? I did clean my house from top to bottom Friday and Saturday so that I can start to decorate, but between being tired and working and then getting home late just really don't have time and energy.

Kara, this is absolutely (?) beautiful.
Thanks for any help that I can get.

(p.s the weather out here is not snowy!! its very mild - cold in the mornings maybe around 34 degrees.)

Ok we finally got all the lights up outside.. And got the cross finished. We were going with just blue lights but it was not bright enough so we added some clear lights to it..It really puts a nice touch to the house..

I dont decorate so I have to enjoy other's efforts. Today I was out and about and stopped in at Town Center, VA Beach to view the Xmas tree....

We don't decorate the outside of the house, for one thing living where we live at there is no one to notice it except us and the 3 0r 4 neighbors that we have!
I do have my tree up and decorated still need to do the inside of house- plan on doing that this weekend.

As soon as it gets dark out, I will be able to take photos of the other decor for the Holidays. Our tree is up and everything else is up too. It will give me something to focus on today other than my pain and my Husband...............
