It just seems as the years go by getting up in the morning and moving gets harder and harder. If it weren't for the vicodin I don't think I would be able to walk at all anymore. My whole body feels stiff exspecially in my neck. Started doing stretches and talk about pain all over. Did the simple side bend and I could feel the pain all through my back. I still ache all over and I still shake mostly in the mornings (went back to the 3 vicodin) but sometimes through the day.

Some people say it is not progressive but I know it has been for me. I too have a very hard time moving most of the time. Sometimes I have to walk with a cane. Although when I am feeling well I can move so much easier !.
One thing I learned from my chronic pain clinic is that Vicodin was never suppose to be used for more than 6 months. When I went on Morphine , a long acting time released form, I started to move better on my good days. I think the ups and downs of the vicoden are harder on the body.
The most important thing is to make sure you keep moving becuase the less you move the harder it it to do when you try.
Streaching and swimming are suppose to be the best for pain patience.

I think my fatigue & lack of exercise due to IC causes that problem for me.
I don't have any great solution for it, though....

I also have fibromyalgia and other issues, so I suffer practically all the time. Today is much worse than usual. :( Can barely function or lift anything, plus am in a lot of pain and something is stuck in my throat (it already hurts to eat and drink everything). My chest hurts to breathe and even to walk a block. It's pathetic. Add in all the IC fun... I should still be grateful though, many are worse off. Every feeling and case counts though, big or small. Praying that you are doing o.k. and everyone else.
