It's been awhile since I have been on here. I went without a flare up for 3 months and now it is back. My stomach is so swollon it looks like I gained 10 pounds. I went back to the doctor because my hands started to hurt, and now I am unable to walk on my right leg. It feels like something is squeezing my muscle. I am always tired and never have any energy anymore. It is getting harder each day to go to work. My doctor is running a full blood panal to see if there is something else going on. I looked at him and said that my gyno just did a full blood panel 7 months ago. This is my family doctor who is working with my gyno to manage my IC. He said he wanted to retest me on everything and look into my electrolyte levels. In some ways I feel like I am back at square one, and no one is stopping my pain. The pain meds work, but I can not take them during the day.
I have noticed that some other members have Fibromyalgia. Is this common with IC and what are your symptons? I am trying to get to the bottom of this, especially since I can not walk on my right leg without being in pain. Any help would be great!

I have fibromyalgia & get pain, stiffness, & fatigue. But fibromyalgia, to my knowledge, causes no joint swelling. None of the FM symptoms are the same as my IC symptoms. Hope you all feel better.
