Last night, I bought 4 used books through amazon all of the subject of people who can't have children. I'm reading one of my own now but I keep putting it off. Maybe I will do that tomorrow, finish that book. Then I will be ready for the rest to arrive.

I've orderd two more books for myself on this subject. If I'm going to do it, I want to do it right. 2 of them that I ordered were not exactly what they said in the descrption of the book so I was bummed about that but now I know what to look for as far as reading material on Childless not by Choice. I hope the new ones come soon!

My life coach had me read "Shattered Hopes , Renewed Hearts" by Maribeth Ekey, when I was dealing with how I felt about not having children. It was helpful to discuss it with her.

For those of you who can't have your own biological children, and are not adopting here are some books I have found very satisfying with regards to moving foward with life. This is not for sale. I will give the title only and then you can amazon or borders or barns and Noble each for a descrption of what the books are about. I know we are not allowe to post books but I wonder if in this case it may help someone out. I know it sure is helping me get through it.

I got mine all used so I didn't have to pay full price. I think I spent in total of 60 dollars, my Christmas Gift to Myself for this year.

Pride and Joy by Terri Casey
Never to Be a Mother by Anton
Childfree After Infertility by Heather Wardell
Sweet Grapes (How to stop being infertile and start living) By Carter
I have one more coming called "Do I want to be a Mother?.)

Those were more child friendly books that I found comfort in....

I did order two that I am kind of upset about because I like children but these books are for those that don't like kids.....But hey we are all different so I decided to post them all........

Childfree and Loving It
Baby Not on Board

I am not happy about my choice but I want to learn how to move forward and stop grieving the children I won't have............Husband and I are both not wanting to adopt.

I wish life coaches where cevered by insuance b/c I think some of them work with you so much more closely than Therapists do.............

Also there are no such thing as life coaches in this part of NY. I'm sure NYC has a ton of them.
