birth control making it worse?

I have a question....i have been on 2 different birth controls since i was diagnosed....and both seemed to make it worse....with the one im on right now i can see a big difference in days when i dont take it compared to days that i do....plus this one is making me break out really bad....im considering just stopping taking the pill altogether....did birth control make it worse for anyone else?

check through the old post we sometimes talk about this alot. i have not been able to take the pill. i just wanted my periods to stop becuase pms makes all my ic and fibro symtoms worse. they say you may need to try many different ones to find the right one. not me, i could not make it through one round. I am 38 though you may be younger and can handle the trial and error phase. good luck

I know Yaz BC has potassium in it and can make IC worse.. Also most Ortho BC will make you break out... This was my experience on them..

lo-esterin almost 17 years continous. I also see others on the board that are on it. I did well with that one. Vicky

I tried the nuva ring twice and both times made me much much worse. And the ring is a very low dose of constant hormones... I just don't take it anymore
