I just finished reading your health story!! WOW!! You are an amazingly strong woman here!!
I have some questions for you, I'm not sure if this is the right place, so if not, please let me know...
You said you also suffer from endo and yeast infections.
I also have been suffering from yeast. I have in the past year been on yeast medications 15 times, have done boric acid for 3 months and at one time did sodium bicarbonate douches for 2 months. What have you done for your yeast?
I am seeing an infectious diease Dr. on Tuesday to see if she can help me.
AND, I also was just told by my pain Dr. who I was seeing for epidural injections in my tailbone that he wanted me to talk to my gyn about endo before trying any other treatment for my tailbone pain. I have that appt on April 19th. What do you do for your endo? Does your endo effect your IC? And if so, how? Thanks, Tina

I use to have lots of yeast infections after I got IC, But I put a stop to that by eatting cultured yogart with no sugar. It helped me alot.

this is how i got rid of my yeast infections and i do get alot of them due to the fact i have to take anti mthly.
i take warm water in a little wash tub put white vinger in it and wash my self with this after each time i pee doing this for a day or two takes care of the yeast and it doesnt return until i take another round of anti.

my doctor told me about the cultured yogart with no sugar but i just can't get past the awful taste.:frown:

HI! you got my attention. Thank you for the copliment.

I am on constant treatment to try to prevent veast infections....Diflucan 100mg. It is usually enough.
It may not be something a doc is willing to do for you...I am on constant antibiotic treatment and have a weak immune system so doc feels I can't avoid them any other way. You may be able to get a doc to give you a prescription so that you can take the med right away though.

I feel treating my endo helped my IC. Hormone fluctuations seem to really hurt my bladder.....by controlling them through endo treatment it helped.

I have done the pill, Lupron, and now have had a full hysterectomy for my endo.....currently I think my IC is worse since hysterectomy...but it may all be acid and gas....fixable things if I get the help I need.

Besides that..endo pain and IC pain at once felt like it could kill me. Going through endo and IC at once is very painful and I am very sorry if that is what you are going throug. I do think that once we treated the endo with Lupron that helped a lot. Let me know if I can help anymore.

hugs,
