Hi all,
My husband and I have recently been thinking of trying to conceive. Apart from all the medication issues, my main worry has been about giving birth. I suffer from Fowlers Syndrome (neurological condition that causes urinary retention), vulvodynia + urethral pain and IC. I am very worried that a natural delivery will be unbearable and could cause more problems with pain and retention. I can't bear the idea of having stitches or anyone messing about 'down there', as I can't even bear light touch most days!! Has anyone else out there had a c-section because of their IC? I'm not sure how to convince my doctor to consider me.
