lyrica - hurts worse?

Hi everyone,

I started taking lyrica on wednesday, 50mg three times a day, and my bladder pain has been gradually increasing. It's so bad today, I don't think I can carry on with it. I'm so disappointed as I had really high hopes for this med!

Did anyone find their pain increased on it at first, but then got better?

Could you have an infection?? Be under more stress and maybe you and just in a flare?

I did notice at first the lyrica made me feel weird but not in pain.. I would check to see if I had an infection before giving it up.. Please talk to your dr about this..

Are you sure it's not the red dye in the gel cap? What if you were to break it open and take it in water for a few days?

Lyrica made my bladder pain worse as well. I had to stop taking it.
