Hi, I was told I have this today from a pelvic MRI and I'm wondering if there's anyone else out there who has this. I have all sorts of pelvic issues being IC, vestibulitis/generalized vulvodynia, rawness rectally, coccyndynia. Could this contribute to all this? Has anyone had treatment for it?

just wanted to add in case anyone is wondering that this is vericose veins running throughout the pelvis. I was told I have a lot of dilated veins surrounding all around the uterus. I'm just concerned if this is all more of a vascular issue than a muscular like I thought originally thought with all this pelvic floor dysfunction...hence explaining why two PTs have not helped at all!

I am going to be tested for this tonight. What were your symptoms? Krisssy

Honestly I have so many symptoms that haven't responded to any treatment yet I'm not sure what is due to the pelvic congestion. I have bladder pain, frequency, vulva rawness, burn, itch along with vaginal vestibulitis, same symptoms rectally too and tailbone pain. I am having a venogram/embolizing done to treat these veins Jan 9th. I hope it can take some of my pain if not all of it! What kind of test are they giving you? Godd luck. Keep me posted.

I am having an MRI of my pelvis. I have a lot of the same symptoms as you, but my pelvic pain feels like a throbbing in my urethra. The doc says it is coming from my bladder neck, but it feels like the urethra because of the nerve involvement. I also have urgency and frequency and have noticed itching in the vaginal area and soreness too. Krisssy
