A member who is having difficulty starting new threads asked me to open a thread to discuss pain pumps.

I was told just this week that Medtronic and other companies are starting to look into making pain stims to help cover pelvic floor pain of all kinds. Several years ago I did a trial of a medtronic stim but it had just two leads and if I had a low back ache I would have been golden. Now apparently they are discoverying that it may take eight or more leads to cover this area for PAIN I am the one that asked Donna to start this thread because it would seem that a pain pump should work and yet no one here seems to have one or talks about success with one. I am going to ask my pain doctor about it the next time that I see him For me my biggest issue is not strictly ic but rather entrapment of the prudendal nerve and it cause all the symptoms that you ladies have except for the running to the bathroon all the time. However the pain is horrible and it causes me to be so fatigued all the time. I just want the PAIN to go away. I will keep you all posted as to any info I may find out from the pain clinic. Gram
