I was wondering if anyone when they have a bad flare feel nausea. Is it normal to feel that way? Also, is it normal to get a flare a couple hours or a day after an instillation?

Thank you

I'm just starting to notice that when I do something bad for my bladder (eat or drink known triggers), I not only get the bladder cramps but also my entire lower gut and intestines feel sick. I don't feel like I'm going to throw up, but it's more like the intestinal cramping you get before diarrhea. It's really strange. It's making me question whether I have adhesions or endo popping up now, too (my mother had endo so badly at age 36 she had a total hysto).

If I'm in a terribly bad flare, I almost always have nausea! I have a hot and cold feeling as well, and then usually the nausea starts. I think the high pain levels are the contributing factor!

I don't get nausea from flares, but definitely do from any kind of pain med unless I also take phenergan. A flare after an instillation can depend on what was in the solution instilled. I know I always had some pain for the day of a DMSO instillation.

I do get nautious in a flare. Usually a motion sickness tablet helps it..but they also put you to sleep:)
