Holly,
That is interesting. My uro is also at UANT. I did not recieve anything but he also knows that I have been able to handle it ok with medication. I do know that they have several offices in the area.

To me that seems a different approach to have an informational meeting about a medical implant. Are they planning on doing a bunch of these that would make it necessary to have a meeting of this kind? Considering that Interstim is suppose to be a last resort treatment, I just find it odd that there are that many people that are not finding relief from the other treatment options.

I would be interested in hearing how this goes and what was the date on that meeting? If I were free it might be interesting just to go listen in on it and see what they have to say. I always like to learn. If it is in the Fort Worth Hospital area, I only live about 5 miles away.

actually, it's thursday at noon. but the hospital where they're having it is in dallas. since i can't attend, i tossed the letter. i'm sure if you to uant's website, they'll have info there.

my doc is tchecjen (misspelled) in las colinas. i really like her, but have only seen her a few times. she's a lot better than the other guy i went to.

i don't know why they sent me the information. esp since i seem to be having a pretty easy time with the IC. it's not that bad. i'm wondering if they just took all my doc's patients (since her specialty is IC) and put us on a list or something. i got something a few months ago about a clinical trial too. can't go on it because we're still trying to conceive.
