Anyone on Pristiq?

Hello. :hi: I hope everyone is having a pain free day. I went for my yearly :bonk:exam today. I have been on Lexapro 10mg for about 5 years now. I feel like it isn't working as well anymore. When I told my doctor, he wants to try me on a new med called Pristiq. Its supposedly like Effexor ER. I start it tomorrow. I'm a little nervous. I don't have the best luck with meds and this med hasnt been out long. I hope and pray it helps me. I was wondering if anyone has or know someone that has tried it. I just saw the advertisement for it on this computer. go to www.askapatient.com and see if anyone has tried it yet. Let me know as I have tried them all and can't take any . I was going to ask my psyc me about this one you are talking about . let me know. Vicky
