Hi everyone,
I wanted to come out of the closet here lol. Jake and Savannah are doing wonderful. Jakes adoption has been pushed back many times due to getting a dx to make sure he will have a medical subsidy. We have already paid for his adoption and they tell my it will be final by November 21st, but hey, been given dates before that it never took place. Jake has Autism spectrum Disorder/ Aspergers Syndrum, and other mental health issues. They believe bipolar, seeing his bio parents and grandparents family history. Savanna Cheyene is now in the process of being adopted, and will not be given the mmr shot, because with the mental history back ground, it can set off mental disabilities.
I am actually in the search for the web page from a well known doctor that listed a very large list of mental issues that can be set off by the shot. I know this has been tossed in and out of the air more times then a hot air balloon, but, I have been researching for 2 years, and this has become my own conclusion.
Jake attends school 5 days a week in the after noon in a special program just for children like him. I also am getting state help for cls and respite care 22 1/2 hours a week. That is someone to come in and basically give me a break to go to the store, just leave and collect my thoughts.
At times things get very overwhelming, and I just want to run away for a few hours, but of course that never happens.
I also will be having extensive dental work done on the 5th, and we will be moving in the next 2 weeks. It was supposed to be this weekend, but the landlord I will be renting from has a couple more repairs, and a new inspection.
Where I am the basement has leaked nonstop as I was assured never did, then there was a sewerage back up that ruined several years of saved porclein dolls belonging to my daughter, all my photographs of her growing up, year books diplomas, and other personal mementos. The land lords here don't care. For 13 months I have begged for many many repairs and they fail to comply. I found out they were not even licensed. urgh!!!
anywho, all is well except my sister found it necessary to tell her daughter that I have changed the babys name, that sure nipped me in the butt, and ticked me off. Guess she won't be told anything else.
I'll keep ya all posted on the kids if you would like that.
I have missed you all.http://www.ic-network.org/forum/profile.php?do=editsignature
