Lacey,
I have been experiencing the same exact thing on my face, and I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing works. It is so frustrating! If you find a cure please let me know! Good luck!
:hi:
Are you taking any medications that could be causing dry skin?

hmmmmm...dry skin associated with IC? I always figured it was my red headed complextion and living in the northwest. My legs get dry and itchy, my face is dry, my head is flaky and oh so itchy, and my poor ole hands crack and bleed. I've tried every cream and lotion I can find. Gold bond cream helps on my legs and anything that's like a night cream works pretty good on my face, real thick glycerin types are good for the hands, but I still haven't found anything to help my scalp. Any suggestions?

Many, many people get dry skin in winter --- I think it's because we are subjected to the dry heat in our homes and work places.
It could be the soap you are using. I finally had to stop taking a daily shower --- I take one every other day in winter to help keep my skin from getting dry. And if it's just scalp dryness, it's possible that it's the shampoo and other hair care products we all use.
Since I'm the only one in the family with IC, but we all have dry skin, I don't think it's connected to the IC.
