antidepressents for migranes

has anyone here been treated with them.. I was given imipramine... I took it last night.. couldn't sleep.. and i am shaking now...

is this something that is really worth taking.....?


The doc also gave me prednisone for 9 days.. to reduce swelling.. shouldn't this be enough.. and than I can start imitrix for them... why should I be on antidepressents.. will they really help that much.. I don't wanna gain the wait.. and become depressed lol...

and not sleeping.. and shaking. no fun

Call your physician if you think something's not right with your medication. Whether it's a side effect or not just ask.....

To answer your question about anti's....I took propanolol for migraines for years..Now all I take is maxalt only when I develop one.
