Nerve block today-scared!

Arghh. I'm nervous but wishing for the best, I'm really scared because I'm seeing the same doctor as Clear Skies...and I'm hoping he's having a better day today.

Anyhow, I'll update on how it goes, how well it works.

It went better than I'd expected. Granted, I was terrified going in there, the sedation was helpful, it didnt' really make you sleepy but more of a 'I don't care' type of feeling.

The block worked for about 10 hours, the pains started again about 11pm last night, The doctor did give me a prescription for extra pain meds..for the soreness in my back from the injection.

But he was pretty quick and accurate, that was a plus! I just wish it would've lasted longer. It must work great for some people because the other patients there were regulars with the nerve block crew.
