retaining urine - have cystocel

I am retaining urine and apparantly have a moderate cytocel (fallen bladder). Does anyone know if this is a result of IC?

And can you retain urine without a fallen bladder



And does the surgery that they use to "tack up" the bladder ever worsen IC? I have a fear of anyone "touching" my bladder for fear of it "setting it off".

I don't think a cystocele is caused by IC --- too many people without IC have them.

I had my cystocele repaired before I had IC. I had three large babies(over 10 lbs. ) and long labours that caused mine.
