Ugh....still feel crappy & venting...

Gosh...this flare I am in began over the Labor Day weekend, and here i sit, at work, on all my prescribed meds and i still feel like complete crap...combined now with a low-grade fever and headache. I bet i got up at least 6 times last night to go to the bathroom. I have been trying the IC diet, which is helping some, along with the Elmiron and have gotten some relief. I realize that it takes a while for all of this to kick in and really make me feel better, but at the same time i am frustrated and just want to feel better.

I will have days of very little discomfort, but was awaken at 4am two days ago with the burning sensation in the urethra, mild back pain and a feeling of needle like pain in my bladder, that have been with me since. I have been trying to deal with the pain but this Tramadol is just not working. I just put a call in to my OB for possibly something a little stronger, and I always feel weird doing that.

I just needed to vent a little bit, and I am so glad I have this community full of support. Sorry for the thread to solely vent but it feels like nobody else understands and i just want to feel better...and reach my ultimate goal of trying for a baby!

I am sooooooo sorry you're still feeling rotten! You might want to check to see if you have a UTI, they can be sneaky with us ICers ;) With the fever, back pain and burning it might be worth a call or a visit to see if one got in under the radar! :)

I think it is a very good idea to have your urine checked for infection. I hope you start feeling better very soon. :)

I hope you find out what was casuing the symptoms to be so strong. If it is an infection, I hope they give you something to get well soon!
