Atarax and vision problems

Hi; my vision has gone downhill since I started Atarax 25mg once a day. It seemed to start getting worse about 1 month into it (I've been on it 2.5 months). Anyone else have this issue? I'm wearing my glasses more and more. My RN and a pharmacist say that it should return to normal after I stop the drug, but I just wanted to hear from real people instead of pracitioners :) Please let me know if you've had this problem and if it has gone away for you.

I think a discussion with an opthalmologist or optometrist would be in order. While your vision changes could very well be due to the med, you wont know for sure unless you're examined.

What does your doctor say? Usually medication side effects disappear once the med is stopped.

I take Atarax at night only. Does anyone take it during the day?
