Agenda for our Spring meeting is just a few days away!

~ RELATIONSHIPS - Sexuality and IC ~

This is a subject we have not really touched on and I think so many of us need this issue addressed. We are not only going to be talking about spouses and family members, we would like to include them. We will be discussing relationships and living with chronic illness. Please feel free to have your loved ones join in on the discussion at our meeting.
My husband approached me on the subject after our last meeting and said that some of the partners of IC patients wished they had a place to vent. Bill would like to join me as we share and discuss IC and Relationships. I did agree with my husband that we will share some of our life together, living with IC. I know I will be opening up a can of worms because like so many of you, we will be discussing the ups and downs of our own relationship. We want all of you to join in on this discussion.
This meeting includes anyone not in a relationship as well. If your partner or family members can't make it, you can certainly take notes!

We hope your spouses will join us as well as any family members that would like to attend. This will be an adult subject of discussion.

Any ideas that you would like to share with me before hand, please feel free to call me at: 508-655-4726. If there is no answer, please leave a message and I will be happy to call you back.

Our meeting is scheduled to start on time, so please try and make it by 1:00.
The hour and a half goes by very fast. Saturday, March 27th from 1:00 - 2:30.
Doors close at 3:00.

As I had mentioned in my last e-mail, we will also have a gentleman who will speak briefly at the beginning of the meeting in regards to the 'statistically significant' noninvasive medical test which is now available for 'diagnosing' IC.
D.N Chadha 15 minutes to tell us about the Prelude Test.

*We do need volunteers to help bring refreshments as well as someone who is willing to help at the greeting and sign in table.
Please write back if you can help? It is much appreciated!
I want to especially thank those that have brought refreshments in the past.
Also for those who helped at our sign in tables;
Joan Shure
Ann Ward
Susan Simpson
Deb Flaherty who is no longer with us but I know will be there in spirit!

It doesn't go unnoticed.
MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

Looking forward to see you all at our very informative spring meeting!
