My doc is gone this coming week so can't see him to ask but last night I started getting what seems like light flashing, sort of like from a camera flash, in my eyes. Only bottom half and some of it looks like vein lines. I stuck with the cymbalta (:loco: still not easy forcing myself to take it every morning) and I read (not sure where) that cymbalta can make you go blind so now I'm worried. I know :loco: me again. I asked the pharmacist long ago if that was true and he said no. My eyes hurt too but I don't know if it could be from high blood pressure, cholesterol or the last 4 weeks I've had migraines again. Anyone else have this happen? Did ask Uro this week abou taking excedrin with vicodin and he said yes but to space them 2 hours apart and only for a few days. Ugh..........I swear I'm falling apart.....anyone know of a good Frankenstein Doc???

If you have a history of migraines those visual light flashes are not unusual. Some people get those as a warning little sign a migraine is coming it is called an aura. Vicky

Being someone with eye problems, I wouldnt let this go unchecked. It could be anything from what Vicky said (migraine aura) to retinal issues.
If it continues or happens again please get in to see an eye DR.

Wishing you well...

Diana is correct. If this continues happening, go to an Eye Doctor. Doc would probably be the first one to suggest this to you if you asked him.

Definitely get it checked out. Eyes are too precious to fool around with.
