I have just heard through the grapevine that there is a "pelvic pain clinic" at the Spaulding. Does anybody know anything about it?????

Yes, the Spaulding in Medford, MA has a pelvic pain clinic. Dr. Bailey is a physiatrist and she does trigger point injections. Tina (can't remember her last name) does internal pelvic therapy. There is another PT that does external pelvic PT. Eve is the OT that does biofeedback using and internal probe as well as some other therapies.

They are great to work with, but take a long time to get an appointment with (especially Tina). I saw them last year for a few months and just called this week to start again on the advise of my new urogyn. The first appointment available was in the middle of January.

It's frustrating that it took me more than three months to get in with this new urogyn and now I have to wait another three months to see PT. In the mean time I have to suffer with this awful pain (I've been in a flare since I had a hysterectomy in March '08).

good luck,
Gigi
