MSM glucosamine capsules...they're huge!

I was going to start to try taking MSM glucosamine because people said they've had success with it here, but the capsules are gigantic and I have a pill swallowing phobia...is it okay if I take the powder out of the capsule and take it that way? Would that cause me any harm?

You might try putting the capsule towards the back of your tongue, fill your mouth with water, then tip your chin down before swallowing. I know it sounds strange, but it really helps the pill go down.

When I first started taking meds I had the same problem.
I have to put water (or whatever you drink)in your mouth tip your head back so the water doesn't spill out, then put in your pill and swallow.Now I can take more than one and usually just that much water.
