I am in the very beginining process of applying for SSD. I got a letter a few days ago scheduling me for a phone interview to see if i qualify for SSI...does anyone have any info on what to expect as far as questions go? I understand what SSI is for, but just curious what questions they will be asking me. Also is it normal that they see if you qualify for SSI?

Thanks so much!!!

I applied on line. They never called me. I had to go to SS office and show birth certificate and finalize some paperwork. Sorry can't help you on that one. Vicky. If you filed on line I would imagine they will go over any open questions that they may have not filled in entirely to their satisfaction. I also found the SS people to be very nice, caring, supportive. I was in tears. They were so nice compared to WW of West from LTD company Vicky

I applied on line first but then I had a phone interview. It was real easy nothing major. It has been a couple years I can't remember exactly but I wouldn't worry.

they deny you on seven year review that's the longest review and with little chance if none of improvement. Vicky
