Ugh!

For the past several days, it doesn't matter what I eat or how much - everything is sending me flaring. So here I am again for the too ofteneth night in a row, curled up with a heating pad (that isn't helping), doped up on anti-nausea medications (that aren't helping) (when I flare, I end up sick to my stomach from the intensity of the pain), and wishing I could make it through the season premieres on TV tonight, but it's not gonna happen.

I am praying the pain doc has some good suggestions when I see him November 19 (sooner if they have a cancellation...praying!). I just can't see living like this for the rest of my life. There has to be something that can be done.

Your appt not til Nov, ugghhh? Sending you a little prayer that there is a cancellation. My pain dr always had lots of cancellations so frequently my appt would be bumped up. Praying the same for you!

Just a note to say hang in there, one good thing about IC is it does seem to wax and wane, so you may have it the rest of your life it shouldn't always be bad, with different med combos to try.

to be a month into this...is....well...something i dont want to do again.
but know....that IT WILL GET BETTER

the most important thing is the diet

no soda..no coffee...no peanuts


once you get it under control
flares come and go
cross my fingers...but i havent had one since the middle of june

first dx in 08/2006,,,two years ago
at my worst i was awake for 6 days straight..and peed every 10 minutes for 6 days...

(i dont have a whole lot of pain.)

please...dont be afraid to ask you doc for it

it has caused me some weight gain
that doesnt seem to budge....its not moving up to down these days

How are you feeling today? I'm so sorry that you are in a horrible flare! I know how I felt without pain meds and in a bad flare. I was taking Tylenol and Benadryl to try to escape the pain. I was also buying over the counter AZO Standard for the burning feeling. I hope that you can get to your appointment much earlier and get relief soon!
