Feel almost normal again!!

I posted a few weeks ago about finding out that I had kidney stones. Well, I have passed three since I last posted, and I have had absolutely zero urethral burning since then, have not done an instillation in one month tomorrow (had previously done them every 2 wks), and have had very little if any disturbance due to my IC since then!! Obviously, there was some connection in my circumstance, and I just wonder how many of those with IC may have something else wrong associated with their kidneys/stones. I am currently taking elmiron and atarax and feel great!!

glad you passed the stones. We just went through the stone thing at our house with my father as well. Not his first time either. I can see where the stone was irritating your urethra as it passed through and now that burning is gone. that makes perfect sense. Congrats Brit! I read a lot about kidney stones on the boards, are they a side effect of IC?
