What do you drink for a cold beverage? Since juice, ice tea, and sodas are out. I don't like pears.

I drink an A & W root beer once a day with no problem.

I have no problem with iced herbal teas...peppermint, roiboos etc...they taste delicious, too

I like Torani and DaVinci syrups. They are usually advertised for putting on coffee, but a little bit in water is very good.

I have no problems with the A&W brand rootbeer. I will have them about a couple of times a week.

mmmm i love root beer. Do you have to have one at the A&W food chain or just buy the A&W brand 2 liter in any store? thanks

Just the regular A & W in the grocery store is what I get.

I never cared much for sodas even before IC but have always liked a rootbeer now and then with a lot of ice. Especially back in the days when I could eat pizza! Rootbeer and pizza...yum...the last time I saw Pizza Hut's new menu they are no longer serving rootbeer????!!!!!! Oh well, probably for the best.... just another thing to keep from going there and eating pizza and sending me into a flare while trying to keep this remission going.
But yes, like some of the others have mentioned I can handle a rootbeer w/ lots of ice a couple times a month, if I have the craving for one. I've never eaten many sweets, but when I do get that PMS craving for something sweet, rootbeer always seems to do the trick! ;) Any brand of rootbeer seems ok for me, as long as I have it with lots of ice. Tho I do prefer the crushed ice they serve at Dairy Queen so that's usually where I go for mine, but I think maybe Dairy Queens are only in Texas?
I haven't tried diet rootbeer, ever. Why ruin a good thing?:lmao:

I'll order Starbucks Vanilla bean Frapp (no coffee) as a treat sometimes. It is very yummy and it doesn't bother me!

I can tolerate rosehip tea and peppermint tea, but I try not to abuse them.
