When I am flaring (as I am last few months)...I find that wearing underwear hurts me more. No clue why, but I hate walking around drawless, LOL. I just discovered a great cure for that! I wear my boyfriends boxer briefs!!! They are super baggy in the crotch area so nothing is bound up or rubbing on me down below. Plus when I am home alone I can wear them as shorts under my t shirt!!

I know it is a small thing, but ya know, every little bit of comfort helps us IC'ers!!

You are so right. Whatever helps. (I started to say whatever works in a pinch but thought that would be too much of a pun. :lmao:)

hi!

i just started a new thread on this topic a few days ago. i think i called it comfortable undershorts! you are sooo right!! interesting, too, we both live in florida, hot humid climate and sweating really can aggravate my symptoms and i have to be sooo careful.

every tiny little helpful hint can make a difference. i got used to wearing no underwear sometimes. it felt weird at first. but now, anything even a little bit snug burns me; as soon as i get home, i have to undress.

i wear men's boxer shorts by patagonia and i love them. very free and comfortable, they are 100% recycled polyester, but, because they are polypro, they never stay wet from sweat, are always cool and dry. i wrote a whole thing on them in the thread i started, but of course dont know how to refer anyone over to what i wrote.

for i c, comfort and safety over style any day! love, cyd in ocala

I remember after having my kids(2 c-sections, 1 vaginal) that I would wear my husbands boxers after I delivered the baby. It sure helped matters!

Hey cyd, I use to live in Ocala!
I also hate underwear.Just quit wearing them about a year ago.Now if I have on shorts then I will wear them. But I am use to it, and the thought of wearing underwear now just seems very constricted and uncomfortable.
