In terrible pain!

Last Friday I had a cystoscopy done and the nurse numbed me up really good before with a urojet. I didn't even feel the cysto and I felt great for 2 days after that. After the cysto she did a bladder wash - which I thought made me feel good. I went yesterday and had another bladder wash done and I still hurt! When I called today to find out why I felt so great on Friday and not with yesterday's bladder wash the nurse said it was probably the urojet.

Isn't there something they can prescribe to help numb my urethra? I sit at a desk all day long and am in so much pain from just sitting I don't know what to do.

I think that you can have the urojet prescribed. I have read where others here have used it.

Lidocaine gel can be used before the catheter is inserted. This helps some people.
