Has anyone ever heard of Installations using Elmiron? I am so desperate to get out of pain. My daughter's wedding is in two months and I can not do all the work in this pain. My doctor is going to start installations on Friday using Elmiron. He never did it before but his partner did and said he has been having good results.

I know there are some people on the boards who have tried this --- hopefully you will hear from some of them.
Sending healing thoughts,

i used the heparin and marcaine dmso sorry i havent never used the elimron one. hope it helps you.
hopefully the other girls who has used the elimron treatment threw the bladder will be by soon.
As Donna said, others here have mentioned having Elmiron instilled directly into the bladder and I think they said it was helpful. At least one person did it that way and took it orally. :)
See my post under elmiron 3-22--4. I am getting elmiron installations to jump start the oral elmiron. I've had 5 treatments and think I may feel a little better.

I'm sorry. I don't know what post you mean.

I posted elsewhere that I am on elmiron installations to "jump start" the oral elmiron. It is just now starting to work after 6 installations in 3 weeks. We also added a steroid to the cocktail. I am not sure, but I think it has already taken the edge off.

This is what I want to try...but not to jump start my elmiron but because elmiron helped me so much...but only to a point.
I hope more people respond that have info on this.
