I tried this pizza the other day and really loved it so I thought I would share the recipe. I made my own crust in my breadmaker but just use whatever crust you want. Then I put this white sauce on it (recipe below) and topped it with fresh spinach, canadian bacon and fresh mushrooms that were first sauteed in garlic and a little butter. Then I topped it with motzerella cheese. Very yummy!!
White pizza sauce
2 T butter
3 T flour
1 c milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 clover garlic minced
2 T fresh basil minced
1/2 c parmesan-reggiano cheese
Heat butter in saucepan then add flour. Whisk in milk stirring slowly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Will thicken upon standing.
