Colorado-Let's meet in October!!!

Hi ladies, I think we have about 6 of us that live in the Denver/Springs area. Would you girls be up to meet in Castle Rock in October? If so, what works best for you, weekends, weeknights? Is there somewhere we could meet? I will be traveling for much of September so thought I should hold off a bit. What do you all think????

I'm so glad people have resurfaced showing interest again in getting a group going. I've been on and off this site for years and it's just been hard to get this off the ground. But now I'm finally a little bit settled after moving and surgery and a whole bunch of other stuff, so I'd be glad to offer my house for the first meeting in a very central location in southeast Denver (Washington Park) if there are enough people who would find that convenient. It's been almost impossible to get a location which suits everyone. I have lists of people who expressed interest over the past 2 years. If we set a date in early January, maybe we can kick off the new year and really make this happen. Does that sound like a plan to anyone out there? If so, respond on this thread and mention if you'd prefer a weeknight or weekend and I think I'll just pick a date and time from those suggestions for the first time. Then after we meet we can decide how to do it in the future. Nancy

Hi all,
I usually go on and off the website as many of us do....usually back on when things are getting tougher, but I'm so glad I came on today. I live in the Denver metro area and would LOVE to meet some other people in our area dealing with the same stuff. Nancy, thank you so much for offering your home. Any day during the week can work for me after 4:30 pm. I work as a school social worker up north, so any time in the early to late evening can work for me. I am also up for meeting on a weekend, if that may work for others. Let's see where this gets us....hopefully we can all get together soon! Wouldn't that be great :) ~Melinda

I also live in Wash Park! I'm free any day of the week until the end of January when I start school, and then Tuesdays/Thursdays I have classes late. I really hope we can get the meetings rolling. I look forward to getting to know all of you :)
