I was diagnosed w/ endo almost a year ago to date. i did the lupron shots for six months and have been off of them for almost 5 months. after the shots i felt great, no endo pain. i was put on a continuous birth control which i have been on since i ended the shots. no issues w/ the pill. (seasonique) but starting today i feel the same endo pain starting again. can it come back? i thought the BC pill was supposed to prevent it from starting??? anyone have this happen? thanks...

I have had very mild endo but real bad uterine/pelvic pain...
When i was on the combo pills (estrogen and progesterone) i would have horrible pains and that was actually from my bladder hurting from the estrogen....
But i do know of some women who have an aggressive case of endo and that even though the hormones sorta shut the ovaries down for a good sleep, the endo is so aggressive that it keeps going....this is very very rare but it can still happen so i would go talk to your doc about progesterone only pills and maybe another lap or ultrasound to have some peace of mind about where things are at in your belly...
I would think that its probably what i experienced since after a couple months when it was after the 'period' time i would experience horrible pelvic pain and i thought for sure it was endo or something but it turned out it was just my bladder despising the estrogen in the pills....so it is probably that but see how it goes but definitely ask your doc about things but yeah it could be the pill buggin your bladder...
i hope you get relief from that pain since i know its horrible to have cramps and not be from bleeding (and even from bleeding it hurts like heck but at least when you start bleeding its a bit of a relief...)
take it easy and take care :pray::pray:

Thanks for your advice. i will be at the dr next wed so i'll see what he says. i dont think its IC related because its only on the right side, but i do get similar pain w/ kidney stones, so i dont know. all i know is i was feeling fine and now that i am actually going away this weekend i would of course have to get sick...but thanks again for the reply.

I had endo, they found it with my hysterectomy, from what I understood that if you are not having a period, that it is not nearly as painful. I could be wrong, I would suggest to call your gyn.

Yes the pain could be endo! There is NO cure for endo. I did Lupron shots and my endo grew while on it. I have the surgery photos before and after to prove to the drs that don't believe it!
I would talk with your dr and research!
Good Luck!!
