Although I have stopped all meds we still have not gotten pregnant and I can't help but wonder if it is because of the use of the meds for over a year.
We are detoxing right now, so I am hoping the detox will clean out the rest of my meds and such left. The detox system we are using is enzymatic full body cleanse.
I was hesitant at first, but since it is more fiber than anything it has really helped my IBS. I am only doing half the recommended amounts though. Praise the Lord I have not had any flares due to it.
Anyway, how many have had issues w/ conceiving after taking meds for IC? With our first two we had no issues. At all! It only took a few breaths so to say then we were pregnant, but it seems like it is forever now. I hate the emotional rollercoaster of is it negative or positive, is this signs of pregnancy or my cycle. It just gets frustrating and I can too easily stress over it. I know the Lord will do what is in His will, but I hate to say I am not very patient:confused:
Then again, I wonder if it is just that we are older now (I'm 26 and he is 38), or if it just the long use of the birth control rx. He smokes too, but the detox is cleaning that out some I hope. I feel that his age is no big deal considering his dad had 2 children after 40 and his grandfather had 2 after being 60.
