hello,
I cannot tolerate any type of cereal, but I have tried plain rice cakes. I break them up in little pieces and add some brown sugar with rice milk. (I cannot tolerate milk because of the lactose). It is pretty good. I have just tried this and will have to see if it bothers my IC, but it doesn't have all the added vitamins that the cereal does. Plain is the only rice cake I seen that doesn't have soy in it. Just thought I would share. It is great to have cereal again!!!

I eat the Nature's Path Honey'd Cornflakes - the only ingredients are cornmeal, cane juice, honey, and sea salt. No soy, no dairy, no gluten, no preservatives. I also eat Health Valley Rice Crunch 'Ems - the only ingredients are rice meal, corn meal, cane juice, and salt. They can both be found at the health food store.

I eat mine with almond milk - I can't have dairy either

I eat the same cereals as Fen. I also eat the plain Oatios. I get all those cereals at the health food store, or at Whole Foods.

I have found that most super market cereal has vitamin C or citric acid added - which has proved disastrous for me, so I scrupulously read the labels. I'm not sure if sodium ascorbate (often used instead of citric acid) makes me flare or not, but I think not. Cheerios,if I recall correctly, has citric acid added. The only mainstream acid-free cereal that I know of is Honey Combs. But generally I go to Trader Joes or natural food section of super market and buy Nature's Path cereal (expensive, though). I couldn't stand my mornings without coffee AND cereal....

Good luck sorting it all out.
