On Wed. the 13th had my rotator cuff repaired- all went great with the surgery itself-but had complications after. Between going to the ER and doctors on Thursday morning- late that night they put me in the hospital due to severe bleeding. Had to have a transfusion(?) I was in there till late Monday, doing good now, hardly any pain--but I think if you asked my family- they will tell you different-I get very impatient especially if either they do half of what I need done or it takes them too long. The hardest part of course is that since this surgery was on the right shoulder and I have it immobilized for 6 weeks-its hard to use my left hand!

Hopefully, you will heal quickly. I am so right handed that I can barely wave with my left. I suppose I could learn, but it would take me a long time. I would probably be healed up by the time I got the hang of it.

Wishing you a speedy recovery with no more complications!

It is hard to function when your preferential hand is immobilized! I had my right hand in a cast years ago and couldn't wait to get that thing off! Brushing one's teeth is enough of a battle, -forget about putting on mascara or eyeliner!

I'm doing better now. Went to the doctors yesterday, said I can go back to work next week- didn't say part time or full time I guess he is leaving that up to me. But I will have some restrictions of course, I can use the keyboard as long as I don't use the mouse,(not hard to do, as I'm doing that now.)-luckily, I will be able to take my arm out of the sling on and off, mainly, I think when I need to write something. Start physical therapy in the next few days as well.

Vicky, you are right--its hard to put on makeup of any kind with the other hand; I needed to pluck my eyebrows the other night and even with my arm free I still really couldn't reach up!!
