Dr Robert Evans is at the Urology Center in Greensboro, NC. He is in with 13 other doctors. So I am not sure if it is the same one. He has been doing IC studies for years and is on the ICA Medical Advisory board. If you go to this websight you will be able to see his picture.

its about an hour and half drive hit 85 to highway 11.
doctor Evans does favor the one in group where my doctor is my doctor still goes to duke unv. just to find new updates on IC. he is very well infromed on IC. I do know that the doctor evans in my doctor group is a very well known doctor on ic. The same as your doctor. I think it could be the same one.
I just wonder why my doctor picture isn't in this group my doctor goes to two diff offices and the other two doctor with him i can't spell one of there names but i will try Dr. Brincink (sp?) we call him doctor B for short LOL.
:wink: Dr. Evans is hardle in that office and very hard to get an appt with but i'm so thankful for Dr. Kerfoot he is a great doctor and very careing also. if your doctor is in with the group and your doctor does favor the one with him. they make a great Team!:thumbsup: if you are ever down this way or coming down this way give me an email and we will try to meet up I don't travel much:( not just because of ic because we only have one car and hubby works. plus we have three children and raising our teenage nephew. i'm 29 years old will be 30 in oct.:( hopefully maybe we can get together for lunch or for a walk. Have you ever heard of cowpens battle feild. its a great and safe place to go walking you can find the information on cowpen battle field by putting it in your search engine i live about 15-20 mins away from there if that long.

I live in Sanford, NC. About an hour from greensboro. I have not been diagnosed yet. We just moved here a year ago from PA. THere are only 2 URO groups here in Sanford. THe other 2 uro's I went to in PA dismissed IC. I hope they at least find something for all this pain here. Maybe, I will travel up to Greensboro for my apt. I am rambling. SO very nice to meet you!

Gaffney (the famous peach, right?) is on the drive to my parents home in GA.

ANd i live only an hour away from Asheville nc and about twenty minutes from Gaffney so yes that is where the giant peach is.....lol
which by the way looks like a giant butt to me and always has. I go shopping there alot and i use to work down there at HAMRICK's clothing store.
My good friend use to go to school in greensboro but shes home now that was several years ago........so i know pretty much where all of you are located.
THis message board is pretty cool i think........getting to met all these new people and we all have IC and different stories to tell.
this has been a lifeline for me ..........
Someday maybe we can all meet up somewhere .........when our ic isn't flaring up..........

These are "my girls" from left to right is Miss Cookie, she is actually the 'granddog', then there is Roxy and Miss Daisy.
Roxy is the mom to Daisy. Daisy is part yorky and part poodle.
I have had Roxy and Daisy for 8 years. Miss Cookie joined the family 2 years ago. I don't get to see her but a couple of times a month but all three are spoiled rotten!
I don't know what I would do without them on my worst days.

Denise,Hi, I have 2 yorkies.Their names are PJ and Nike. PJ will be 8 years old in August.I got him when he was 6 weeks old.Nike is 3years old and I have had him for one year.I am Nike's third home,though I can't understand why anyone would have wanted to give him away.I'm glad I have him though! It was love at first sight with both of them.PJ is about 7 lbs and Nike is about 4 lbs.I had another yorkie 9 years ago that I took because he needed a home.His name was Perry.I was told he was 5. After a year he got real sick and after extensive tests it was determined that he was about 15 and was in renal failure,so I had to make the very difficult decision to have him put to sleep. I still think about him every day. Your little ones are so adorable,and I'm sure you love them as much as I love mine.They are spoiled rotten,but they bring me alot of happiness and comfort.Take care,and enjoy your babies!:) Melissa
