I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing as I am. If I do not eat after about 2 or 3 in the afternoon, I have less pain at night and I am able to sleep much better.

The funny thing is, I don't get hungry either?? I am a little concerned about getting all the nutrients that my body needs, but it seems to help and right now that is more important to me.

Second question, what do you do about exercise. I used to be a long distance runner - (marathons). I find that I just don't have as much energy anymore and I think this will be out of the question on a go forward basis. Exercise has always been my way of dealing with stress and my attempt to defy the ageing process (in my mind anyway)

I would appreciate any info you can give

I iwsh I didn't get hungry in the afternoon (LOL) I need to lose about 40 lbs. I did lose a little weight in the beginning because I was so afraid to eat something that would give me pain. As far as exercise goes, I play tennis & golf, I was never much of a runner, I think this could kind of jiggle the bladder too much. Any way, you hang in there & keep going forward. Hi, as far as exercise goes, I have started doing Tai Chi again, and I find it very relaxing and helps me. I also have got the Yoga tape from the ICN and plan to add that as well. As for not being hungry, unfortunately I cannot say that, but my husband and I usually eat our dinner meal pretty early about four in the afternoon and I find that has helped me, if we go out with friends, and we do not eat until later, I feel more pressure in the pelvic area in general for some reason. Take care and hugs Iris.:hi: :)

Exercise??????
At this point I can not even walk 1 mile. My pelvic pain is so bad once it starts, I might as well just give it up.
I went to the grocery store today and by the time I left I was in agony.
I stay hungry all the time. and I need to loose about 30 lbs.
Good luck finding some kind of exercise that doesn't jar the bladder.

Hi Denise,
I like resist a ball and yoga.. It is low impact and I enjoy it.. I only do it on days I have no pain.. because on those days I can barely walk or I feel it would aggrevate it. I still cross country ski when I feel up to it and even tried snow shoeing last Sun.. Back a few months ago I thought I would not be doing any of these but slowly and carefully I did.
On the days I have pain I just rest!
Take care
