I went shopping today thinking of buying some cloths to wear to go to doc's. NOTHING that looked half way descent and no dresses at all! Even stopped at salvation army. So, I figured while standing in the clothing section of Target I will either lose the weight and wear the cloths I have already that I can't fit into OR I will go naked. From there I went to the cat isle. I always look to see if any toys are. Havne't bought them any in a long time and if I could find something that didn't cost an arm and leg I would. There was a thing called Cats Corner. Has where they can hide in the bottom and sit on top with a hanging fish. That would be something all could play with plus I only have one corner spot left in the downstairs that has an empty space. :lmao: Got home and decided to put it together. Couldn't be hard. It's just a matter of matching colored pipes and corner pieces together plus it was a small object. WELL!!! I swear there must be a big toy building store somewhere hiden away that people don't know about. They have people sitting there trying to make things as hard as possible to put together. Hey, lets make it looks easy on the front and back of the box but make the directions impossible to follow. I managed to finally get it all together Except the top part no matter how hard I tried the pipes and corner pieces were not fitting. The side bars were waaaaay to long going by the instructions and the picture!! TWo of the kittens (fully grown cats now) ran by chasing each other hissing and I told them if they didn't behave no new toy. Of course the way it was going Grandma would never get the top part together and they wouldn't have a new toy. Just a half put together thing with a fish dangling. :bonk: Then after 20 minutes of pushing pipes together, pulling them apart I finally realized their directioins on the last two corner fittings was wrong!!  I was startig to think I was getting extra stupid in my old age. After I figured out that mistake on the direction it flew together.   AND there it sits....in the corner with no one playing in it. :lmao:

Bless your heart! I had a similar experience at 1 am on Christmas Eve with a play kitchen for my daughter- my husband was working all night and told me it was "already assembled"
And, that's how it goes with kittens- spend a fortune in toys they don't play with- leave a box and the cardboard from a roll of paper towels out and they're entertained for hours!:cat:

That's how my cats are too. I've bought them toys, but they'd much rather play with a string or bat at the plants outside, or just dive at my ankles and tackle them as I walk by! LOL!
I know it is rough finding clothes that fit and look nice. I go to consigment shops alot b/c my weight fluctuates so much. That way, I can get some nice stuff w/o paying an arm and a leg and then if I gain or lose weight, I dont have to worry about having so much invested, and can just go get a few more things.
When I was larger, I REALLY, REALLY didnt want to take the plunge and go to Lane Bryant (or other bigger stores.) I just cringed at the thought. To me, it was almost like saying, "I give up!" But, when I finally gave in and went, I was so glad I did. Stores like that usually have things that are actually MADE for bigger people, you know actually designed with a fuller figure in mind, rather than the regular stores where they have things in lots of sizes, but who knows WHAT size it looks good on! For example, most of the shirts at the Plus size stores had V necks instead of round, (which IMHO ALWAYS looks better on fuller figures.) Also, they didnt have pleats or gathers at the waist or pockets in that area (which always seem to add extra bulk, making people look bigger than they really are.) I found lots of cute stuff that actually made me look much slimmer and I was also alot more comfortable.
I hope you find some things you like really soon. It is hard to have any self esteem when you hate everything in your closet. (At least it was for me.)

Some of my favorite people are overweight. And I think they love just fine in their clothes. I do agree that if regular sizes don't fit right, there are more flattering styles available in the women size stores.
